This week's theme is the SUN.  ~Sun Pictures/Printouts~

The vocabulary word is ray - a beam of light.

Gross Motor Skills Activity:  (Monday)

Play outside in the sun.  If Monday is not sunny, wait till another day of the week.  Talk about how the sun makes it warm and nice to be outside.

Fine Motor Skills Activity:  (Friday)

Paint a yellow sun!  You could paint the circle and then let your child paint the rays with finger paint.
 

Shape/Color  (Tuesday)

This week you will teach the color yellow.

Letter  (Wednesday)

The letter this week is the letter H.

Number  (Thursday)

The number this week is the number 8.

Nursery Rhyme  (Friday)

The nursery rhyme this week is Hickory Dickory Dock.  Recite often!

Hickory, dickory, dock!
The mouse ran up the clock;
The clock struck one,
The mouse ran down,
Hickory, dickory, dock.
