Read What's It Like
to Be a Fish? by Wendy Pfeffer.

Put a sticker, drawing,
or picture of a fish on your "My
Science Journey Poster."
-
Discuss the reading with
your child.
-
Find out what species
of fish live in your area by looking in a local field guide.
-
Decide if you will purchase
a goldfish. You will need to get the fish tank first and wait a day
or so before adding your live fish.
Day 2
Be creative.... (choose
one or more suggestion)

Color a picture of a fish.
-
Draw a picture.... I suggest
Draw
Write Now Book 6.

Make a tissue paper fish.
First draw the outline of a fish on a large piece of paper. Take
small squares or circles of tissue paper (for scales) and glue onto the
drawing of the fish.

tank(bowl) on day 1, then you can now go and get your goldfish to bring
home.

purchase a fish, you can still visit a pet store and look at all the fish.

If you have a fish hatchery
nearby, arrange to visit and have a tour.

If you live near an aquarium,
take a field trip there.

Watch the video from the
Schlessinger
Science Library called "All About Fish".

Eat fish for dinner...
only if this will not upset your child
